Okay well my car didnt come with a sunroof from the factory but i want one really bad. Has anyone here ever had a sunroof installed on your car?
 


I removed a roof skin from one car & put it on another..

Wow lol that seems like alot of work.. i was just planning on having it done at this really good auto body shop near my house. Dont they usually just cut a hole in the roof for the sunroof to fit ?
 
I deal with a shop that does alot of aftermarket roof & was told to go OEM or dont do it..Aftermarket roof will leak in time..

Doing bodywork I see alot of OEM ones that leak too..
 


Yes do it the way flip did it or dont do it at all. Factory sunroofs have drain gutters and water lines that run to the bottom of the rockers. Its a lot of work.

On the same note, never buy a car with an aftermarket sunroof already installed. Youre asking for trouble. Or just look at the headliner in that car. The trouble may have been done already. :th_laugh-lol2:
