Subway's GT: Time to close my legs, it smells everywhere

Re: Jared's 2001 GT

SPRING TO-DO LIST:

1. Patch the front bumper and paint it black as well as rear bumper
2. Add quad exhaust tips
3. Replace, or fix up the passenger fender
4. Buy a color matched license plate cover and add a black inlay
5. Add color matched inlays to the door sills.
6. Slightly tint the tail lights and add clear corner lights
7. Maybe get LE fog lights or tint my current ones
8. And probably a SLP knockoff spoiler from RA lol, but that's only if I have some spare cash sitting around

Gotta make the car look nice for June 25th ;).

Oh boy. Forgot about this. Only 1 thing actually has gotten done on this list. All my attention has been focused on my top swap as you can imagine.

Yeah, so lately I've been painting, meaning everything is in good working order and can be assembled (if it was time to lol). I'll get some pics shortly. And then in a few days of everything together, but I gotta let the paint dry.

I never got pictures up did I... Hmm, shows how motivated I am lol.

Here's a picture of Jareds top movie choices for May from his own personal collection

Changed the tranny fluid finally. Was a very messy job, but it got done. Only problem I ran into was that I snapped off the filter neck on the old one. Took me a good 5-10 minutes getting the broken piece out. Spent a lot of time cleaning the pan and gasket. So far there are no leaks with the pan being torqued to 10ft/lbs. A good amount of clutch material in the tranny, but no chunks thankfully. Hands were filthy so there are limited pictures.

As by the pics, you can see my shirt is covered with old fluid. Even got some in my hair lol, and my shorts were covered.

Over the next couple days, I will be checking for leaks and keep checking the level to make sure it's still in operating range.

FCK the police!

Should have installed a drain plug, way less mess for next time.

Oh yeah. Forgot about that. I did that

Re: Subway's GT: Top Swap Parts Are In -Jared Fogle would like to taste them in his m

Either way - good job. Glad it turned out ok

Re: Subway's GT: Top Swap Parts Are In -Jared Fogle would like to taste them in his m

I'm not pulling the pan off again... So no 2nd magnet and no drain plug. Those are great ideas for next time though.

Gave it some throttle and it shifted fine. Real test though is first gear.

Got the last of my actual bolt on top swap parts. Thanks Bob! Can't wait to eat my sweet treat ;).

All of my friends loved it. And of course we all did gay stuff with them lol. Was gonna give some to a teacher, but I didn't see him.

Re: Subway's GT: Top Swap Parts Are In -Jared ate dick shaped candy

Made a trip out to the junkyard today. Was planning on getting a new window switch, idler pulley, and the bolts for L67 idler stand. Did find the pulley and bolts, but no window switch. But that's 100% ok because I got something so much better for such a great deal, that I could easily make 6 times the price on what I payed for them.

That's right, a set of excellent condition roof rails. And how much you might be asking? $20!!! It was such a steal that I almost felt bad lol. Only imperfections are the one scratch in the last pic, and a white spot that could be probably be buffed out. Super excited though.
