Stacii Has A Big Brother...

Man, if you're thinking about swapping to the Vortec 6000, skip the LQ4, swap in a L76 (came in the 07+ Suburban./Silverado/Yukon). Makes 367hp/375lbt in an aluminum block .....All grins.

That would be nice but from what i read on the Tahoe forums, that one is alot harder to get in the older body styles than the 00-06 Tahoe/Yukon motors. And plus it will be alot more expensive to try and get that engine.

all LS motors crave blowers.

That my friend, they Do!! But im workin w/Limited funds lol But like i said...SlowNA06 is gettin the motor for me...you want to sponsor my blower?? Whipple please!! LOL

Here is a few pics. First 2 are with the 26's that were on it when he bought it last one is the 30's mocked up he still has a little work to do till he can run them.

nice obs man, i got a 91 ecsb with a 383 stroker. I just have to say that 4x4 DO NOT GET LOWERED THEY GET LIFTED. People will laugh at you if you lower a 4x4. no offense.

you can run a 31 inch tall tire on that year truck with out a lift, but why those? i just threw up a little bit. not a fan of rims that cost more than the car or truck or that style. but to each his own, ya know.

The 26's look great. I dont think i would even want 30's tho...thats just way too big and i would have to get rubber bands for tires...yeah no. I think imma go with 24's that way i can get a decent tire that isnt too thin. But i love that color tho...reminds me of the Burnt Orange GP's

LOL To each is own sir!! Im not a fan at all of lifted trucks. I like low with big rims. So ppl can laugh if they want. Thats on them. And i have seen PLENTY of 4x4's that were lowered. But thank you. You got pics of your escb? Mods?

Hilarious.

That is hideous to me...now i definently wont be going that low LOL but when i get the rims on it i dont want it to be an insane wheel gap.

Yeah i feel you. Everyone does have their own opinion. I love the 26's but i do think the 30's are a lil to gaudy for my taste. They are nice ass rims tho.

i like lowered trucks as much as the next guy, i just thought that 4x4's should always be lifted. But thats probably because i like lifted trucks. Should still look good though, and i think 26's are definatley big enough on an obs. I'll try to find some pics of my truck they're on my other phone.

uh, only real mod is the motor and a custom chip from Brian. I want to buy s suspension lift soon but i also want to drop the gp so i'll have to see which one gets priority.

(edited and removed pic so i dont thread jack)

^^^^THIS!!!!!!!!! I cant wait!!!! This weekend or next weekend it goes to the paint shop.

He said on his 26's he ran 305/30's on it so with 24's you should be able to run a pretty good meat on them.

nobody likes to offroad or go camping?

I went off roading once in my k5 blazer and hit a stump with my front end and had my drivers front tire of the ground. Luckily I had a locker in the rear end and was able to get off if it but I would probably do it again if I had a 4wd.

Why not dare to be different than the next dude out there with a 2 door yukon. Id say Lift it throw some 24" rims still but with some say 35' mudders. Still sick but not the yukons you can see evveeerryyyy day on 24s or 26s. Just my thought.

Yeah thats definently the plan. I just havent eyed the ones i want.

That would be pointless for me bcuz once again i dont like lifted trucks. Its not about daring to be different. Its about personal preference. Im not big on lifted trucks. I just dont like them at all. So im not gonna put myself into something i dont like to be "Different". So most likely i will be lowering it about a inch then doing a body drop w/the S-10 body mounts (that will lower about another inch) and throw some 24's on it w/a good amt of tire meat.
