I just don't see how anyone could sink as much money as you have into a damn 12 year old Grand Prix. Call me a hater, but I 'd rather save up and pay cash for a G8, then to spend 2 grand on a shiny supercharger......

It was sarcasm. But I bet he spent wayyyyy more than I ever would for a part on a 10 year old car. Maybe I like to save money for better things, but a spray painted supercharged would suite me just fine. He's at the point now where he's pretty much done all he can so he's going to start re-doing stuff that didn't need to be re-done to begin with.

I have 2 cars, a house, a great career and a large stock portfolio

I've been doing little things to it for over 2 years.. overall cost isnt that much (Parts cost mostly)

That polished Gen V makes me drool! I bet it looks amazing in person compared to my rattle can black paint job on mine.

I know pg. 7 says pictures of parts, but did I miss pictures of said aluminum heads somewhere, or is that still yet to be ordered?

i gotta guy polishin my gen 5 just like this one and sometime this week im goina get the front braces and dog bones polished everything else in my car will be black

also i was supposed to leave last friday for ft hood but a few weeks ago our unit was "off ramped" on our deployment so all my plans i had for my car now has to wait a year til we decide to deploy but im definetly going with tep trans. figured just do it right the first time and because i really dont plan on racing anymore not gonna change the gears.

instead of buying the rest of my parts in advance i threw another $6000 into my stock portfolio

i got some dividends getting paid and when the price is high again ill sell and buy my stuff :)

love it when my money is making me money

Ya because good luck making ANY sort of cash on our salaries. Thank god for deployments.

what is tim charging these days? how much delivered? and what kind of turn around time does he have? no core charge either, right?

his name seems to carry a long way, and i'd like to get one this winter.
