It'll be nice to have but SOOOO Expensive. What's the weight difference between the cast iron and aluminum heads ?

I have GR8RACINGFOOL (Jason) working on a special project for me now.

hehe... i know alot of people are anticipating the completion and build photos of this project. but again the parts are at home and im in the desert... I'm as siked to finish this as most of you are.

I'm liking all the parts. Seeing alot of things that went on my car as well. If I were you, I would just stick with the XP cam, because you already have it. It is your car though, so if you can justify selling the XP and getting a S3X for a little to no price difference, have at it.

when i get my GEN V and my carepackage from GR8Racing fool + my paint and engine build finished when i return,,

yall havent seen **** yet!

You got a sh!t ton of work done to your car, and it shows! The fruits of your labor have not gone unnoticed. I can respect all the work you have done since I have been though it all myself too. Its one thing to mod, and its another thing to take ones car apart and mod as it goes back together.

With that, can't wait to see the next new finishing details. :th_thumbsup-wink:

its Hot Rod Red.

Just a ****ty camera phone phone and the sun directly hitting it at that show..


The Red Engine bay is no longer going to be there..

Going with a different route that will be in by new years hopefully.

I'm in Iraq...

Still need to buy the XPZ Cam, JE Pistons L32 rods, all the outs and ends, double roller chain


then get my parts back from Jason, rip the engine out, clean it, install all the new ****, rebuild and upgrade my transmission and Paint everything, install my suspension, brakes, etc and dynomat my interior.

and sell like 3k worth of excess **** at my house (audio, old mods, xp cam)


Then ill be done.

I'm torn between Tim King, Dave at TEP, or Aamco do my transmission

Tim King:
Cheapest
has all the mods i want at a good price

Dave:
Master of this trans
would have to pay a core fee and shipping
my upgrades would be more pricy with his street strip build
6m warranty

Aamco:
done work with them in the past
3yr warranty
will install my parts and trans
No shipping fees or core charge since i supply my trans.
would be $1700+ price of buying my upgrades (Input shaft, 3.29, hardned 4th clutch, misc ****)


and with the XPZ build and frequent track visits the 3yr warranty or if i do the lifetime would be worth its weight in gold with aamco..

3 year warranty is too good to pass up.

i know but it would be almost twice as much as Aamco (which has done great work for my family (3 transmission rebuilds in different cars)

and the short warranty (6mo) and fact shipping would be outrageous
