• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Some more top swap questions! Yay!

If scotty took out that much timing and he's still seeing knock is it possible it's false? Yeah I was wondering what N/A cars have stock I thought they had like 20+. I'm surprised he was only seeing 4* I would have thought it would have been more.

its 21 wot lol

once you add boost it cant be that high. his kr is real, it needs a bit more help. maybe the maf, or a degree timing pulled. stock timing can reach like 16.5, and that maybe to high.

mail sent. dont clear the fuel trims, do a partial flash. this way you dont reset the fuel trims. only time i clear the trims is if a i do a fueling change.

Ok and so did you just lower timing by two on the whole table or just certain spots? If just certain spots how do you know where to take it from?

a page or so back i posted a pic of the timing folder open and the bottom area highlighted. once highlighted right click and the window opens up for you to select add or subtract.

it should be better. give it a few days, scan all the stuff i told you to in the e mail, then we can see where your at and fine tune it as needed.

iirc your ait was still kinda cold, like 70 degrees? once that gets hotter out you'll need to work on it more maybe.

cold air is gods intercooler. once it gets hot out the air gets thinner and with hotter intake temps kr happens. why its always best to tune in the worst heat and humidity possible.

Its pretty cool lol. Ya and summers in az are in the 120s it was about 92 when i was running the scan

it comes down to a balance of fuel via the maf or timing. you dont want to flood it with gas. but you also dont want it too lean.

depending on where your ltft are wot you may not need to mess with the maf file at all.

How much race gas is still in the tank....???? When you go back to 91 your tune will be messed up again if you are changing fueling..I'd wait till all that gas is out unless your gonna be running race gas

I filled it all the way up with 91 when it had 1 gallon of 93 left in it so it's pretty evend out at this point
