• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

so what do you guys think

Hatchbacks are heavier than notchbacks. You might give it a decent run. If it was a notch he'd have to be a ****ty driver or it not running up to par. 3200lbs is probably the weight of a notch. Hatch is probably around 3400lbs. Hurry up and get us a vid or some results.

I will be surprised if you loose.

Stock hatch fox's are 15.5 in the 1/4 maybe 15.3 with a good driver.

I doubt he's running anything faster then mid-high 14's

There is only one real way to tell..

Race him.

you guys dont know much about the 5.0s do yall..........

YouTube - 5.0 mustang stock 1/4 mile

stock timing on the 5.0 is 10. you can easily bump it up to about 16-18 with 93 octane. you can remove the silencer in the intake to give it better air flow. strait pipe them.

i know a few people that run mid to low 14's with a stock fox body (with the free mods) i have even heard of a few people going 13.9

with the free mods they can put down about 200hp. a stock gtp puts down about 200 stock. ive seen gtp's as low as 14.1 stock. but i see alot of mid 14 sec stock gtps. the fox is probably about 4 hundred pounds lighter. throw in a five speed.

14's is easy in a fox body.

Ok, first of all, in the 14.5 you posted.

"My 1993 bone stock 5.0 mustang! doing 14.5 i was really happy with the time. i hope will help somebody that wants to know the numbers on a stock 5.0, i know its hard to find a stock one like this!"

NOT everyone fox will run those times, it is a rarity.

14.1 in a stock GTP, bull ****, sorry but not believing that one.

The Hatchback foxbody is 3,225 a GTP is 3,396 = 171 pound difference.

"Free mods" still = MODS.

GO ****ing race the kid and stop asking people, you already seem to think he's going to rape your ass, which I hope he does now.

hahahaha.

cry baby.

im just informing yall because yall seem to be alittle confussed.

at the track, on the scales, with driver in it, gtp's weight about 3600. foxbody hatch, with driver in it, with heavy crome wheels, 3300. full interior, stock suspension. ive seen it.

as far as the 14.1 gtp, they dont have video proof, but ive seen alot of mid 14 sec gtp's.

as far as the mods on the 5.0. (the free mods im referring to, not the one im racin) its still STOCK motor, STOCK suspension, STOCK gears, STOCK exhaust. doing a little tuning up because the factory detuned them is nothing new. its like saying because you changed your spark plugs on your gtp its not stock any more.

you need some cheese to go with that wine????
