So Im trying to buy this Camaro...

do yourself a huge favor and don't buy a car from a friend or family, it only screws up friendships in the long run, and don't buy cars from high school students, as they tend to beat the hell out of cars real bad, i beat my cars in HS and i'm sure a lot of others have done it too.

try to buy used cars from adults who look as they have the means to take care of the car, so you don't get stuck with a money pit, and have a real mechanic check it over, who ever you buy from, its $100 bucks worth of insurance in the long run.

just my 2 cents.......

Well I beat the **** out of all my cars in highschool but then again I went to highschool when big blocks on spray were serving 4 eyed stangs. Having a built V-8 and rear wheel drive going sideways was good times. I guess if I drove boring cars it might have been different, but I didn't buy a big block 442 to idle off stop lights. Whole point being is 1) just because there were 2 saints who don't beat on there cars while in high school does not mean it changes the fact that most are. 2) don't buy cars from family and friends as previosly stated. But for the record even my wife will admit to e brake drifting her cavi in the snow back in her young days.

i bought my car from my aunt. if anything i suggest doing that for your 1st car. that way u know the whole history of their ownership.
