Maybe you can give me a bit of technical advice. I have a mig welder that I bought used. It's a 110v unit 115A unit. I have no gas with it, only flux core wire. Can I use the flux core wire or do I have to have gas? How much is a small bottle and how long will it last (approx)?

Also, what settings do I set my welder to? I tried welding a couple of small pieces of sheet metal together and it justy burnt a hole through, even though it was set on low heat, could I have the feed speed too slow?

practice practice and more practice buy lots of scrap and mess with the settings.o and body work with flux core is none to good.

If you combine this hood with a Holden intake (N/A only), a useful ram air setup probably could be fabricated.

hood is primed an blocked it today but didnt get it on the car..

Well its half ass painted just to get it on the car.. Gonna get it vinyl wrapped this week some time but im not sure on what exactly i want.. Gloss or flat black or what i really wanna do is carbon wrap.. any other thoughts.? wood grain?

looks nice man! 2 paint booths? one down draft and one side draft? id say paint it with your car of CF wrap the hood and spoiler
 
Ya we have two booths.. the other one mainly for priming of side job ****.. Yah i was defiantly thinking of doing the spoiler too.

Which Qt did you take those pics at? Im a manager at the one on McKellips and 202 , we should hang out some time and maybe I could pay you to do that to my hood :)
