Slowest automobile you've driven?

slowest car I've owned is a 1981 VW Rabbit auto, had a vacume leak, would stall at the lights but kept it in neutral and gave it a bit of gas, then once did a neutral drop by accident and left a patch of rubber LOL

i had a 77 vw rabbit, 4 speed, that thing was fast enough, used to be able to smoke 2 gears and chrip 3 rd real good lol, then i started jumping rail road tracks, and that lasted about 3 months, then the uni body cracked on the inside of the wheel well, center tire, and then the cops told me i was not to drive it anymore as it was soooo unsafe lol the pass side was all collapsed in and the bumper was 4 inches from the ground, tire rubbing. (EYE SORE) wish i had pics of it.

slowest car ever, i have to agree, the 85 diesel tornado, my dad had one and i took my drivers lic test in it lol what a dog!

Either my moms '01 Pontiac Montana when its loaded down for vacation or my dads '91 GMC Sonoma ST (with the 4.3L). He doesn't drive the truck anymore so it just sits.....which means I have to drive it every once in a while just to make sure everything still works. ;)
Even with 211k that stupid truck will still spin tires like no other, probably cause it only weighs like 500lbs with the bed empty......but I have to rate it low cause the speedo only goes to 85. Still love driving that truck though, especially in the winter with 2 wheel ABS and no weight in the bed. :th_laugh-lol3:

I owned an 89 Ford Festiva. 1.3L with 4-speed manual. The car maxed out at 65mph, DOWNHILL. I was pushing it to get 45mph uphill. I could have pushed it faster than the engine did. Absolutely hated that car, but needed the transportation. Didn't last long either.

slowest car iv every driven was an old ford geo..and a 2001 corolla
fastest have been
69 gto- had 505 v8
97 ram turbo diesel ( modified )
04 comp g

love the gto it is my uncles :)

Well, probably an old early 90s cavalier. But that was a customer's car at work. I see just about everything working at a car dealership. If I cut out everything from work, probably either my friend's 94 buick century. That car is just laughable, but it's always fun riding in it.

ugh... a 2004 kia rio....up a mountain in arizona. 18 hours of floored awesomeless all the way back to texas. my fastest would have to be this spoiled kids brand new mustang gt back in highschool.:th_sick1:

02 Buick Rendezvous with a warped piston and versatrak.

180hp to move 4,500 lbs = better off getting out and walking for best 1/4 time.

My grandparent's old minivan: '00 Dodge Caravan with a 2.4L I4 with the air conditioning on. I could push that damn thing faster than it moved by itself. When the a/c compressor kicked off you'd get a surge of power and then it would kick on and God forbid you be going up a hill or you need power. On the interstate I had a full van with people, on a hill, 18 wheeler slowed down, went to pass them, held it at WOT for I know 2-3 minutes before ever reaching cruising speed.

Talking about appreciating the GP...

88 Dodge dakota 2.2l 4 cyl 5 speed....even being a 5 speed that thing had absolutely nothing! You could be cruising at 55mph throw it into 3rd and it would be screaming but the speedo would'nt move!!!
