Sick Lightning

My buddy has a Lightning and sent me this video. Twin supercharged Lightning running ported Ford GT supercar heads. You've gotta see it for yourself.

The fun starts around 6:30 into the video.

YouTube - Twin Supercharged SVT Lightning part 2

If you go to PSE Supercharger's videos on youtube you can see their dyno test. They're still working out the kinks.

That truck sounds incredible but I'd rather see it on the track than doing a pointless burnout on assfalt in a parking lot for the camera. Pretty juvenile, what will it run at the track is what I wanna know. Any dyno #'s?
GT 500's are seeing in excess of 700 RWHP with one Whipple, and I believe the blocks are good for 1000 RWHP so where are the #'s?

Yeah anyone can do a burnout like that... al ya need is a trans brake and some extremely soft tires... or cheat buy lubing up the tires...

I like to see the #'s also... why a truck? not a stang or something like that... a Focus would be different... ??

the description for the 3rd video is: 788rwhp Dyno test with 101 fuel. 20psi. A/F at 11.8 Timing only at 21. 700tq.

Seems like on 101 octane they should be pushing more than that, but they said theyve got more work to do. Id like to see it on the track as well, and I'd like to see them market that kit for like 900hp or somethin like that. I've become fascinated with dual superchargers....

WOW thats low... a Ford GT i sat in with 1 whipple made 703 at the wheels with the whipple and a tune... its baby brother gt500 made a measly 620 with a couple mods and a tune... and this bad boy only pushes 788 with two, higher boost, and a tune... needs to be fine tuned BETTER or thats alot of money wasted

you can get those numbers with one and save money ...

btw speaking of which... why bother with two? i mean seriously... 2 chargers running 10lbs of boost doesnt make 20lbs of boost into the intake... its mearly 10lbs of boost... except your having to excert more pull to run the second charger, i only see it as more stress on hp to pull the second and more heat and more waste just to say, i have a twin supercharged motor that would get the same numbers with 1... yay redundancy

dont mean to step on toes, truck is wicked sick, and i give props for the time spent and what was done... but seriously... reason?
