Should I remove the resonator AND the cat?

LoL I was about to ask how did you guys dealed with the emissions control crap. I would also like to remove the cat on my car, but I have to do that emissions thing each year, but I think my next mod will be removing that U bend pipe. I have I degree in computer science just in case anyone is wondering about my background haha.
