Should I be nervous about a fluid change?

First, find out what the service history on the transmission is. If he's serviced it 3 times already you probably don't have much to worry about.

Edit: All I'm saying is this isn't necessarily the first service the trans has had.

its when its never had a service in its life and its over 100,000 miles your asking for trouble. but then some times if it wasn't beat on, aka adult owned, the fluid may have been in good shape when he had it flushed.

To me 'beat on' =/= kid-owned, but I see your point. I'll have to bring it up, I'm taking it out for a drive tomorrow. :)

Check list of things to look for other than transmission?
