Shaky mirror

Driving my wife's 2003 GT yesterday and I noticed the drivers side mirror shakes while driving down the road. How can I fix this?

Last night I was outside and I noticed my 5 year old Chocolate Lab(Coco) in the back of her car..... My wife happened to come outside about the same time so I asked her if she let Coco in her car which she replied, "NO". Seems Coco wanted to go for a ride and the drivers window was open, she jumped in and of course left a few nice scratches...darn it...

NOTE to self, to my wife, and my kids - Do not leave the windows open on any of our 3 GPs.

assuming that this is not from a stereo system, you will probably have to disasemble it and re glue it to the backing.........probably not what you wanted to hear. Unless someone else has a better idea

I am not sure, but I would bet that you have to take off your inner door panel, unbolt the mirror housing and access it that way.........I have no detailed instructions....maybe someone else has done this and will chime in.

or is it loose enough for you to just grab onto it and remove it without it breaking? if it is, this is your lucky day and you will just need some adhesive to reattach it while it is still in the housing......

Last night I made a trip to the Dump, then Feet Farm and the Grocery Store. Failed miseribly at looking at the mirror... Thought about it while lying in bed, hopefully tonight I remember!!!!

I messed with the mirror last night, it did not pop off. I was careful and yet worried that by messing with it my wife will call today saying it fell off.

did it feel loose on one side or the other? Could you get behind it at all from one area of the mirror without taking the housing off?
