SES Code after injector Upgrade

I got a P0171 code after installing 39# injectors

I changed the IFR based on 31/39=.794871

So, Table/0.795=NewTable

Am I wrong?
Did I have 36# injectors?

Is it just my trims are that far out of whack?

I thought that they were 36lb/hr.

But honestly I can't say for certain....I'll look on the pt forums and see what comes up

do a maf tune and see if it goes away....reset the fuel trims

if you mis calculated the injectors to a higher rate you shouldnt be pulling a lean condition code

I thought 04+ were 36 lbs,

Ed morad lists them as 36, from his listing:

This sale is for a set of 6 good used factory 36 Lbs. flow fuel injectors. These will fit GM 3.8 / 3800 series III L32 supercharged engines.

The part number is 12574393. These are the blue / gray in color.

I think it could, the computer is expecting more fuel than it is getting, the injector pulse is shorter the higer the flow injector(to get the same fuel) so a injector that flows less than what the computer is set for could cause a lean condtion

so a injector that flows less than what the computer is set for could cause a lean condtion

Sorry I read that backwards....I was thinking that the injector that was put in was flowing more than what the pcm was set for...sorry

Well, I added 10% to the IFR Table
Trims were closer, did 1 MAF tune, trims look alot better
I'm about to update the MAF for the 2nd time tonight
We'll see where it goes

Okay,...
I took these threads to heart, and talked to a few people
I'm redoing my IFR Table with math for 36# vs. 39#
So, 92.3% change
Also, I back-up to my last MAF Table b4 I changed the FIs
We'll see where this leads me
