• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Re: The Build (going turbo!)

Thanks for the info I'll look into it. There are a few guys on here running that Alt and they seem to work well

Re: The Build (going turbo!)

Heres what Ive been up to the past couple days in my spare time.

The turbo was a little to close for comfort to the wiring harness so i pulled the turbo back off and wrapped it with titanium heat wrap.

Then i covered the wrap with a fire sleeve. Bit of an overkill i know lol

I reinstalled the turbo added the downpipe, wastegate and new pcm. I also installed the newly modified abs bracket but it was after i took this pic.

Re: The Build (going turbo!)

Doesnt look like you have that much left to do. Double check ur intercooling piping to make sure every clamp is tight.... from experience haha.

Re: The Build (going turbo!)

First startup. The oil feed line for the turbo was leaking so we shut it down pretty quickly. But it runs!!

Re: The Build (going turbo!)

yes the trans cooler is behind the ic. There is 2 or 3 inches of gap between the 2 just incase i need to add fans to the trans cooler.

Re: The Build (going turbo!)

Am I the only one who thinks this when I see a topic that says "going turbo"? Or is it just because I have kids...

Re: The Build (going turbo!)

Got a new 90 for the feed line so oil leak fixed.....but then after running for about a minute it died and now only runs for a second then sputters and dies. Will check more into it tomorrow
