Seafoaming!?

I was curious if anyone has any tips or reasons why I should NOT do this to my car... (2001 GTP w/no engine mods) Also, what are all the benefits and does it acutally help THAT much? Does it ACTUALLY clean out the engine and injectors? And also, pouring it into the fuel... Does it require replacing the old fuel after? Is there a time limit you need to change your oil after you seafoam an engine? Pouring order tips? Thanks for everyone that helps out in any way.

simple answer, i recommend it. carbon buildup is broken up by seafoam, thus the need for changing fluids/filters. i have noticed better gas mileage, up to 4 mpg at 60-70mph. i'd add the seafoam to the crankcase and fuel at once, then into the intake because you're gonna need to drive the car pretty hard to get to all the nooks n crannies of the intake. don't be worried if your car doesn't smoke a ton, it means you're harder on the car than someone takin' it easy, with a result of less carbon buildup.

when seafoam is added to the crankcase, sludge preventing leaks from your gaskets may get broken up, so i'd change the VC gaskets(if they're stock). an oil change/filter is highly recommended within 200 miles.

when added to fuel, i like to let the tank get down to 2 gallons or so before adding seafoam, so that the seafoam to fuel ratio is higher. this will clean out your injectors. i've heard of replacing the fuel filter once the solution has been completely ran through, but i don't think it's necessary.

when added to the intake(the smoke part), i like to use the brake booster vac line, but any vac line leading to the intake works. add about half of the amount you are putting into the intake slowly and then at once pour the second half in and your engine should stall. hook your vac line back up and take 'er for a helluva ride!

^^^forgot the part where you let it sit for 30 mins or longer. and to add to his comment yes it works, makes the car feel like new again, loss power comes back

if you're supercharged and your rotor coating is now mostly carbon this will eat some of that carbon resulting in less boost.

Just a heads up.

^^^HAHAHAH!!!.. I looked back and forth for like 10 seconds saying "the hell did he fix"????? I actually laughed out loud.

so u wanna keep the car running when adding it into the intake? Will this work even with an intercooler? was told this will also show where exhaust leaks are, is that true? not doubting them just want another opinion is all.

yup it will smoke up and smoke will leak from the bad areas

and seafoam has no effect on the rotors i mean it will eat away crabon so i guess thats true

but yea you will be fine using it bbp
pour it in the boost vac line with car running and at operating temp kill car as soon as it in let it sit and start her up

then go drive it for how long? Sorry im just very nervous about this. Dont want problems to arise is all. When i do it im going to replace fuel filter, Change oil and filter right after doing this to be safe. may not be neccesary but better safe than sorry.

also this might be stupid question, but i can do this even running E85 correct?

FIRST OF ALL...

THank you so much everyone for helping. You have helped so much. I love (not in that way) you all!! And I ride my car hard.

Ok second... So (for anyone to answer)...
1.What parts/changes are recommeded to be done?
2.What are the exact order of steps (ex. intake, fuel, vac line) and when do you start up the car (after what step)?
3.Should you let it run or shut it off right after the last step?
4.Where exactly is this "brake booster vac line"?
5.Is it ok to put synthetic during the oil change? (I like synthetic... Recommendations?)
6.Anyone want to tell me the EXACT answer to this: (i've heard of replacing the fuel filter once the solution has been completely ran through, but i don't think it's necessary.)
7.Should you run the car hard after the process?
8.So you let it sit 30 min after or before the process? (^^^forgot the part where you let it sit for 30 mins or longer. and to add to his comment yes it works, makes the car feel like new again, loss power comes back)

ALso... Anyone know how to paint rims (stock ones) and exactly what paint should I get. I want black paint. Any tips? Sorry about all the ?s...

Less boost? What rotor is this? I know this sounds dumb, but I know it's not the wheel rotor but is it the rotor the belt spins on (pulley)? And YES it is supercharged...

ALSO, if i were to change my pulley to increase power... What size pulley do you recommend me buy.

Silly Rabbit, Tricks are for kids! But if i were ever to even ponder using that awful product again. i think i would JUST put it in the gas to clean the injectors.

What's so bad again? I have no clue (thus the reason for this thread). Enlighten me please sir.

The rotors in the s/c that push more air into your engine making that whining noise as well as making it not a complete dog. Most of them are covered in carbon from the EGR which helps it seal.
