Seafoaming!?

water had nothing to do with my block getting cracked Hence why the insurance didnt pay for it and my Oil didnt have any water in it.
 


Typical physics laws that don't apply to him...cold water + hot metal = no bueno. The drastic temp changes causes it to break. Done it on a cast iron frying pan at home too.

LOL what trick exactly are you refering to??

Aaaaannnnyyyways, 30 minutes of research on seafoam will result in positive outcomes/effects, and suggested actions following the process (replace plugs, oil, etc etc) No where will you see any boards, or threads entitled "Seafoam destroyed my engine" the only logical "negative" outcome could be that it can disloge potential "seals" that have been created by carbon build up, resulting in leaks, but no proper engine should be relying on those types of seals to function correctly.

I seamfoamed everything a month ago, nothing but good outcomes.

You know how much that worries me on my ATVs.. Every time I fly through a puddle and water hits the head and exhaust pipes it makes me wonder, how many times until something cracks... I had gotten stuck with water half way up the engine on my 660 raptor and the amount of steam it made was crazy.

Although I have to admit, Ive never heard of iron block cracking from water hitting it in a car. I can see how it would be possible, but have never heard of it.
 
Unless the water was THAT cold...and his engine was THAT hot...and he was basically submerged...it sounds feesable.
 


we're talking about the rotors in the s/c case that "blow" the air into the LIM...

These things are slow, especially without boost.
 
I mean really, what if you got some of the seafoam from the Gulf that was exposed to the oil release, Couldnt be a good thing.. Bluegtp91, thanks for the confidence..lol
 


WELL, It says right there in the name (SEA) foam. It does not say Moutainfoam, or Autozonefoam. So where else could it be from? Plus, when I used it, there was a slight salty smell to it, Im thinking the (Black Sea), maybe the (Red Sea), but then again, it is not black nor is it Red. Well, I will do some more research to determine what sea this comes from. I just hope the foam part isnt from a rabid dog.
