Scored some free Cobra's ...

I have those kuhmos on my Crown vic I like them also got them for 60 a tire 245/55/16's now im stuck with the size and cant find any under 100

your joking right. Those are the biggest piace of **** tires in the world, plus they probably wont even last a year.

the Kumhoss you posted are not bad tires. Not the best, but fine for DD.

are you looking for summer tires or all seasons?

doesn't really matter, we get snow like 2 times a year and it might last an hour before it melts. We do get a lot of rain in the summer though

oh ive been down this road....dont bother lowering i had these in black and they stuck out beyond the fender when lowered.....YOU MIGHT be able to stretch those 235's on there as is and be able to run them but not with out looking like an ateam van.....i would sell them on a mustang forum and get some cash for some new rims IMO....i liked it at first but grew to hate the look of that offset.

I've kind of been thinking about sellin them, I mean no matter what they were free for me so I'd be making money... but then idk what rims I would buy next because I can't find any that I like.

i'd vote white in that case, not sure if im feeling red wheels. as ricer as i am im not sure id ever rock an actual color.

Not black, BUT I would be really tempted to have them powdercoated in red or white.

I can't help but chime in here. I think those wheels look great just as they are. I'd not sell them. I'm a huge fan of polished aluminum, assuming those are that. I think it has a nice stance just as it sits, really. A 235/55R17 is a little taller tire that would help with the opening gap a little if you wanted to avoid lowering.

After looking at your photos, I'm leaning toward a 245 for mine, but the 235 doesn't look bad.

The tires are pretty bald, so new 235's would probly be a good size, but I'm leaning more toward 245's just because it looks like my car should be lowered.

What does the neighbor's car have on it now that you have the rims?

Just curious, the situation dictates how I feel about you selling them.

It seems a bit out of line to be sellilng the free rims you got for $$ to buy other rims when they were given to you as a gift. But I don't know what's going on with the neighbor's mustang to really know.

Make any sense? I just know I might feel guilty selling them when they were a gift. If I'm the neighbor I might be thinking, "what an ungrateful ****."

Ya know what I mean? Not bashing, just conversing.

I understand, the mustang has my old t/q *'s on it right now, and in a way they were a gift, but I've done a lot of work on their house and stuff so its like a payment gift. I doubt I'll sell them for a while, because their isn't any other rim out there that I really like.

I guess it really depends on what the intentions are for the Mustang. If it's headed for the junk heap, then no issues. If it's a nice ride, etc that has potential or good resale value I don't think you should get rid of them.

I'm pretty sure a nice-ass Mustang won't hold as much value with torque stars. :th_laugh-lol2:

But I see your side, you've helped out a bunch etc so it was a gift as payment. You should be able to do what you see fit.

Either or, good luck.

you guys do realize 235 is the width not height.....

235 is width and the 2nd number is a percentage of the first that determines the height last number is rim size so if wanted more room you would go 235 and the 2nd number the next size smaller....you dont want a taller tire for sure like stated above i had 255 45 17's on mine and it rubbed like prostitute on X. im pretty sure 235's are even gonna scrub when you lower.

I have 235-55-17s on my bullits.. but they're not 9" wide though. They fill up the gap perfectly.
