Saleen Wheels...

Bumpin up instead of starting a new thread:
anybody have pics of the saleen wheels with the +36mm offset on an 18X9 rim? I mainly just want to see how much it stick out from the wheel wells.
I threw a bullit wheel of my dad's mustang on the other day and didn't like how it looked at all with the way it stuck out.

I don't really like the bullit wheels on my grand prix..idk if its just the color or what.
Plus I wanna be different..thus why I have a purple car lol

+36 will not stick out of the fender. Go check out the wheel and tire section of this forum..

yeah, it most likely wont push out of the fender very far if it does. its gonna matter a lot on what tire size you choose how its gonna look.

245/45/18 are what im gonna go with...I was just curious how much theyre gonna stick out cuz its a 9 inch rim...that was my only worry

its not going to sit inside of the fender if thats what youre asking. itll either be close to flush or just outside. if you run a few degrees of negative camber you can tuck the top of the wheel in, though.

I forgot about these.. haha

Are these the +36 mm offset?
And do you have a pic showing how far they stick out....like looking straight down the car?
EDIT: Sorry for being so picky guys lol.....I just dont wanna spend 6 or 7 bills on some wheels and have them stick out like the bullits did.

if you look at the rear fender you can see that its still tucking the rear wheels. if they were the +24mm ones they would stick out, therefore, they are the +36mm ones.

I can see the rears tuck ok....i was just wondering about the front. It would be logical to assume that since the rears tuck the fronts do but ya never know.

the rears are the ones that will rub, the fronts will accept bigger wheels and tires.
Really? hmm I thought the fronts would be the problem. See there's a perfect example of what I said in the previous post...ya never know....well I never knew anyway lol

You can have problems with front or back if your lowerd enough, but the only time you will have problems in the rear is if you have the ass sag or lots of wieght in the back..

you can also fit +30 if you roll your fenders pretty good and use 245/45/18 tires. that has been done.

you can easily tuck the wheels with a few degrees of negative camber, but everyone is like 'omg not weird tire wear!'. negative camber doesnt really effect uneven wear unless youre running excessive amounts ( > 5*).
