Re: RussDinoGuy's 02 GT "Slowkar" Its slow

it still carries the bad rap of beening soooo bad. So unless they rename it to something else you will get people saying how bad it is.

Just don't let air into your cooling system. That's why I have been saying..... Green FTW.
Lol same with any coolant. I encourage you to run the conventional green stuff. Run it forever and don't change it every 2 years.

You encourage it? What did I do to piss you off? LOL

I always run green and change it in the 3-4 year range. Never had an issue. I worked a GM dealer back when Dex-Cool was introduced. Same BS then as now. If your vehicle is A1 perfect, then I can see Dex-Cool being ok. But hardly any vehicles are A1 perfect, unless new, so f-off Dex-Cool. :)

I'm also not a fan/believer in anything that is claimed to last forever/as long as the car lives, etc. Absolute BS. Kind of like folk that say heat doesn't kill transmissions.

you didn't do anything lol. I just don't care how you maintain your car because I'm not working on it lol. Also have you looked to see the how long the green **** last for? The conventional crap only holds it strength for 2 years.

Re: RussDinoGuy's 02 GT "Slowkar" Its slow

Yay, a thread where we're free to talk about dexfool. But now I'm not in the mood :(

Re: RussDinoGuy's 02 GT "Slowkar" Its slow

Pump is in looks dry, got the system bleed which actually didnt even require much bleeder use lol which is good because......SNAP because I wasnt paying attention. Also learned the PS pump bolt doesn't thread into the timing cover to be used as a WP bolt lol

New pump vs old, blade design is cast vs stamped and idk it looks better to me.
