RussDinoGuy's 02 GT "Slowkar" Less Slow Now

id open it up, and rtv both sides of the gasket and bolt it back up. rtv smeared on the sides will blow out if the gasket is leaking.
 


I did that but i couldn't quite get it good enough with the downpipe still on the catback. I'll have to get the glass pack welded on then dick with it

i saved my glass pack cause i know the res on the new cat back will rot out one day lol

yeah best to drop the down pipe off rear manny. then rtv it up good.
 
not at all, the old res was blown out, the res made it quiet like stock. no drone no nothing, all you heard was the engine and the sc whine. aka a vacuum cleaner flying by lol

buickman was here the other day, i fired up my car and the first thing he said was, wow its so quiet lol and thats with the ebay cat back on it. this one has the big fat res on it. i know it wont last forever. so i put the glass pack on the shelf. thought about selling it for like 1 minute lol
 




1.9s and 42.5s on, accidentally drove 280 miles home with 42.5s on a stock ifr table.

Got the tune decent enough, going to get as low as I can and fill up with e85 for my next fill up.

Ordered a MPS hub and a 3.4.

MPS here, 3.4 comes in Saturday. Dunno when it will go on. Depends in finding someone local with a puller but I know like 3 people that will send them to me to use. Also switched to e85 today, gotta go through a tank or 2 to flush all the 93 out and see if my filter clogs lol

Sorta, crusing LTFT they don't get higher that -5ish once you give it a little more gas they start going kinda negative near -10s. Just haven't felt like messing with it really.

Nice job Russ on the swap and mad scientist tuning.

Now you should change the plate....take off the S & L because it will be broke all the time
 
This is about the only group I know that likes any e-xx fuel. You guys mod and tune for it. But in normal world stuff I hate E-10 Boats, snowmobiles lawn mowers cars that sit a lot.
