so i'm lookin' into a differnt DD and parking my prix for a while. I was thinking of 5th gen Prelude's with the H22's and throwing a small small turbo on it to get back and forth to college. well i've been over on the preludes forums and it is so funny. posting pics of new fart cans and they all praise eachother lol.. its almost sick. this is a small comment off he forum. and they're is plenty more where that came from. one guy had an awesome all black prelude, then posted pics with bright pink rims, and he has tan interior. I'm like WTF, they all love it. I think it looks like a dead dog.

^^^^It's sad....and apparently H22 engines burn oil like I smoke cigarettes. No Bueno! ( just for anyone elses future reasearch )

i had a 2000 H22 prelude before the GTP and i still really miss it..handled very well, decent power, nice interior and i had it for 2 years and 222k on the clock not a dam thing went on it..no probs once so ever. i ever had oil burning probs tho? just drive one and let that be the judge..mine had header-back exhaust, AEM intake and it was groovy baby ;)

yeah, its not a bad way to go if you don't wanna spend alot. fairly cheap cars. just don't wanna rack up the miles on my GP and want a fun ass 5-speed to kill around town back and forth.

and trust me, plenty of ppl are ricing them out

CRXs are trash but you like 5th gen preludes? Very interesting.......anyways they are good cars but good luck finding one cheap.

^^^ a few really nice 5th gens are alil expensive but some high milage ones are cheap. i would pull the engine, replace w/ forged pistons and new rings, get that thing realy for some serious psi

why get ready for "serious psi" if you're putting a "small small turbo" on it lol. Just admit it, you want a new project but you don't want to hurt the GP guys' feelings

ive had 2 h22 preludes, awesome cars. mine never burnt oil. just keep it maintained and u should be good.

i so want a jap car as a daily driver so i can JDM the crap out of it. sideways muffler, lowered to the floor, i want my fillings to rattle out of my cavities :D

if you think you've seen a riced out prelude... just wait till i get a picture of a co-workers car... :)

Nope, I've got the winner right here:
