rhythmic squeak

I have a 1997 GTP with 220k miles that has developed a rhythmic squeak at start-up. It diminishes dramatically after only a few minutes to the point it's almost unnoticeable. The noise is definitely coming from the vicinity of the bell housing and the frequency of the squeak changes with engine speed while in park. The frequency is much slower than engine speed. I'd guess it might be 240 squeaks per minute at idle. Although the noise is rhythmic it's not regular. I removed the belt from the supercharger and the noise is still there so it's not the supercharger.

Has anyone run into this before?

could be thic oil on rockers and such tapping. since its gotten cold i faintly here it more a min then goes away.

Thinking more about it today I think this must be something running at camshaft speed, about 400 squeaks per minute. I fixed a problem just like this in a 5.0L Ford. The camshaft position synchronizer was going bad. I've never had any major problem with this car and don't even know if it has a camshaft position synchronizer that could go bad but there must be something that runs off the camshaft that could squeak.

It's not any of the accessories. The noise is definitely coming from around the bell housing somewhere.

stop thinking about it and take the belts off. then run the car for a minute. if the sound is gone, its a pulley gone bad.
