Retrofitting intake

Ok so a year ago I decided to make a cold air intake for my 96 Chevy blazer. The Blazer is gone now but I still have the 3" stainless intake I made for it. My goal is to convert it to fit my GP. Here are pics before I installed it on my Blazer.......

Yeah but I still have to make it stay put too so I think Im goin to leave the stock PCM tray in and take some stainless sheet to make an air dam. From there Ill route it to the fender well.
 
Yeah I just don't want the filter bouncing around. I'm sure the rig will stretch all the way to the opening to the fender well.
