regal top swapped problems



Alright. I was thinking of doing that but then I thought, would it burn out faster from running in high speed mode 24/7?
 
So with a bad pump would i be able to do that relay bypass. Or should i get a new pump, ebay has them for 55-60 bucks 2 way pump. If i do that will I have the connections to run a 2 speed pump?
 
you have a LS. pretty sure that by pass tricks not for those cars. just gs's and such.

you can order a just a pump on line for like 20 to 30 bucks. why buy a whole canister for 100 plus?
 


Like it was loose around the casing. Whats the correct values that my car should read at idle with the key off, and with it revving at 1500 rpms
 


Got a new supercharger snout today it's pretty awesome and the dude had rebuilt it. I feel safe and happy. Great to know he did it for 10 bucks. Sometimes having connections are awesome.
 
I just cant get thing to stop i hate it, the stutter st wot is pissing me off. Its doing it at the same times when flooring it. It does feel like a hesitation because the car stutters along with the rpms but it will continously pull. Yesterday my injector wasnt seated correctly and my dad pulled on the harness. On the #6 injector.... squirted gas every where. Had to basically bend the rail down. But i.literally am fed up with this car im about to leave it on the dang tracks lol. I guess back to square one. how many miles are on your car now? maybe the cats gone bad and clogged up?

where did the fuel leak from? the rail? or the head?
 
Where the injector is at the head, it was loose it would move up and down and it doesnt help the rail was bent. I had problems before putting the rail on and the injectors being loose, i have 155k miles yikes but i mean its probably shot by now lol
 


Snap some more pictures for us. Detail any areas where you had issues or something fought on the build. As you post more, it seems there can be a bunch of potential areas where small things are going to pop up and cause you trouble.

It does sound like you aren't getting enough fuel at WOT. However that can be from a vacuum leak say...where that injector isn't seated properly. That's air that the engine is pulling in and the MAF isn't seeing. Therefore the O2 is trying to compensate after the fact and that one cylinder might be misfiring causing you kr and even possibly hitting a safety in the pcm which leans it out.
 
If he's got an injector not seated and air getting in, he's asking for a melted piston...2 out of the 3 cylinders in the 11.4 AFR range and one near 16 ish or more AFR the car won't adjust a lot...melty melty. Double check ALL of your leak spots.
 
Yeah the only problem i had doing the top swap was the injectors being movable up and down. My dad tried to reseat them in and it didnt work muchother than everything stopped leaking. He went to check the injector connectors for volts and pulled the #6 cylinder injector and it started to leak and spray all over. I plan on getting a new fuel rail soon because im done using a bent one. So i have to go to springs to buy one which is 45 mins away due to being the closest supercharged engines to me.
 
Another issue is stumble at start up sometimes the car when being started will try to start up but you hear it stumble like the supercharger is trying to rotate but the cars not wanting to start and after the stumble itll rev up and then sit at idle. Or the idle will rev up and then drop down quick like its going to die but won't.
For more accurate effects i start it it revs to 1000-1200 rpms and drops to 500 rpms and then back up to 750 rpms. Itll drop when i rev it to higher rpms in park also, for example. Rev up 2-3k rpms as it drops back down it drops to 500 rpm and back up to 750 rpm
