On the original motor I had Plog, DP, L76 springs, Manley retainers, HS 1.9's, Gen V, 3.6". Currently that is all sitting on the floor waiting for me.
Created the tune via DHP and for some reason there's a couple of things in the trans that didn't move over. Pulled up the tune in HPT and saw the couple of items, fixed them and now gear ratio is happy once again. Drove the first 20 miles to work to get a few things done. Looks to be running rich and has some KR (likely from fueling). That'll get fixed up soon enough. Meanwhile, it's up and running.
Thanks to Max (Intrigue98) and Jason (hitman) for the assistance they gave me on the swap etc.
Overall this was easy. Pulled old motor then checked the exhaust manifold (close enough) put my flex on the new motor (didn't come with it), swapped an L36 fuel rail on in place of the returnless L26 rail, switched oil filter adapters (Lucerne tucks under motor, W body heads straight to passenger side), moved the motor mount over, moved Plog. Dropped it in, changed the map connector to the L36/L26/L32 style, changed the maf for a good one that DSmuts sold to me instead of Danielle (neener neener neener D)
L26 exhaust manifold seems to push the exhaust back a little. I'm rubbing the firewall with the downpipe in reverse with some throttle (oh well..lol).
The kicker to the whole thing, I was most excited about being able to put this cool new thing on.
