Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged SSC Rears On!

You still riding on DNAs in front? That wheel gap is totally even, color me impressed!!

Did you get your flicker figured out?. My DDMs driver side was slightly flickering the other
night so I swapped the ballasts around and sanded the ground points to shiny mo-fos.
Seemed to resolve......so far

Well I had them cut the tips off then I took it home to dremel out the sides for the tips to fit without hitting..
Trimmed off about 1/8-1/4 inch on each side

Knew id make use out of them ugly red mats. Work perfect for kneeling on haha.

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Borlas & G8 GXP tips on!

See what an awesome movement I started?

These cars look sexy as hell with fat tips stuck out back.

Looks legit, man...being an '04...I'm guessing you hate to cut out quite the amount of rear bumper to fit those then, huh? lol

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Borlas & G8 GXP tips on!

More importantly how do you like the Borlas?
Haha they sound good! Might need a new glasspack..but good for now! N its def not a v8 lol

Sound clip? and they look real good.
Ill get one when I get home for sure

Haha yes she looks sexy now. It needed some fat tips to fill up the gap..although im already wanting them to be repositioned. My ocd is getting to me. N it wasnt too much being cut out. I made it look the best I could n it doesnt look bad at all. Thanks dude.

Me have no resonator :(( its straight piped n prob needs a glasspack to help it out. Im uploading a video now..nothing special lol just a little rev..prob boring but they sound good..glasspack will at least quite her down a little cuz when im driving n it gets up there its a little loud. Ill do a cabin video later or something.

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Borlas & G8 GXP tips on!

My stock resonator was quieter than the glasspack by a long shot...I regretting getting rid of it on my Thrasher setup...even though that car was louder than hell and sounded straight awesome.

Yeah I wish I didn't get rid of it, idk why I even did. I'm gonna beat myself up for it n def not spending money for a new one. Maybe a junkyard one but well see. Prob just get a glass pack eventually.

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Borlas & G8 GXP tips on!

You can tuck them up with worm clamps on the rubber exhaust hangers...like clamps for your rad hose and such are usually the norm.

Glasspacks are normally thirty bucks or less brah.

Lol yeah they're only 20 some at autozone..just will have to go get it chopped n welded again. Just was gonna wait to see if its too loud or if I need it quiter or what. Then there's just the time to do it. I couldn't believe how cheap they were tho haha

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Borlas & G8 GXP tips on!

That's because they blow out within a few years time and need replacing again.

Hell, even a short 14" one would help.

ahha it all makes sense now! haha i see..well mufflerman said theyd do one for like 150...n prob a better more legit one than the 25 dollar ones but ill still prob just go cheap route n do that when i feel like it lol. ill enjoy it for now n if i get annoyed of the noise..but its not too bad, then ill do it.
