recommend tire size for 17x9 bullitt

just got my wheel deliver today now i need tires and not sure what size i should put on. i originally wanted 275/45/17, but my buddy said it would be bad idea cause i would have problem with understeer. he said he used to have one on his 99 cobra and didn't like it cause it feel like too much tire on the front. 275 is off my list now. i want something little taller and wider. any recommendation?

Go 255 or 265. I have 245s on mine and they looked stretched and I don't like it.

i probably wouldn't like the 245 either. i like the 255 tho.

Funny....mine rides just fine on 245's. To each his own though.

It's good you didn't decide to go with those. To my knowledge they don't produce one. There have been quite a few that ran 17 x 9s with 275/40-17 tires even though they are off a bit more. I got last second vulture beat on a set of 6 with kuhmo V710s on ebay awhile back! :th_angry-censored::th_skull:

No you don't. Wider than stock, yes. Wider than 275, no. Taller than stock or the theoretical 275/45-17 you listed, no.

You'll be fine with 255/50-17 or 245/50-17.

If it was your MC that I saw PS'ed with the black bullitts it will look sweet! Post pics.

hanhook make 275/45/17 cause i test fitted last summer at pep boys. yes i think 255 will be the choice. now i'm just waiting for the refund so i can reorder the wheel again
