• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Receiveing reply emails two days later

Just got a message saying there was a new post in a thread. Went to the thread, and the latest post says "4 days ago. an anyone beat that? Maybe the moderator should offer a prize for the latest notification of the week?:th_laugh-lol2:

I get pm replys a week later than tapatalk reminds me or just see it logging in.

Sent using Tapatalk 2 from my GS3.

Now the emails are 4 days late.

Something needs to be done.
I heard it was on the list of things to do......

- make search bar visible
- get Grand Prix image for forum header
- make replay e-mails take less than 2-4 days

As you can see, the list is rather large, and these forums are extremely hard to maintain.

I'll be back in a few days when I am notified of this post.

have no doubt the forum is a big project, and I will say it is working great. I have noticed that PM's are notified immediately, but still have the four day wait on thread updates. Now I know nothing about writing "forum code", but maybe this info might help? :th_sign-pontiacs: P.S. Thread updates now coming five days late, and PM's no longer coming immediately.

all of us that are active have no powers to change anything. i apologize, really.

Wish I knew anything about programming and Forums. If I did I'd offer my assistance. Now, if you need a computer built or repaired, that I CAN help you with. Hope you figure it out soon, it's a great feature.

Garbage.

Who owns the board? He/She needs to contact vBulletin and tell them to fix the error in their software. Most likely a code issue.

You guys that are "active" may just have control rights, but the owner sure does. They need to step up to the plate. Getting a reply that is 5 days late, about a post that was 4 days old, and was a reply from a 3 day old post. Not cool.

rocket is the owner of the board and the main admin. i don't have access to any of the code, just forum fun time stuff. if i could change it, i would.

all of the "contact us" emails go right to rocket. blow him up. send him 85 PM's. he's the one that has to look into this. i don't know of anyone else that has access to any of that and to be honest, i don't want to be involved in running the site in that fashion. i push what i can as far as updating things that i can edit, but beyond that i'm just here for show.

Why not just get on the site regularly? I don't receive any emails anymore because it got annoying getting them. I just get on the site a few times a day.

This is what I do too, but I have troubles with my short term memory, so it's difficult for me to remember all the threads that I wish to follow. Oh well, when my pay comed in towards the end of the month, I'll do a donation to the forum, then maybe that will be able to help them out. And, if everyone who really wants this feature fixed donates, then they will be all that more able to get it fixed. :th_computerproblem:

On the desktop version of site right above where it shows ur user name there's a tab that says quick links. If u click on it there's a drop down box and u can go see all the threads uve participated in. No need for emails

This thread is full of LULZ, after I log in, I click on "settings" right next to the "log out", it brings up any thread that I have commented on and I get to see the latest update on said thread. Just like life, the 10% rule applies here.

That's what I've been doing since this whole issue started.
