The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
Looking to replace coolant elbows, both belts, and a squeaky pulley this upcoming Friday. I'm actually pretty excited to get under the hood of this car and learn more about it (We all know I'll be regretting that statement somewhere down the road lol, hopefully I won't have to be under there a lot in the future).
Also I'm probably going to wait until my next paycheck to get my windows tinted because I've bought a few other things recently... Other than that I'll update again on Friday lol
Sorry for the 3 week delay lol, a lot of stuff has been going on recently..such as football starting and my sister coming home from Okinawa. I have spark plugs, spark plug wires, aluminum coolant elbows, and a new tensioner pulley arriving either tomorrow or Wednesday. Hopefully I'll be getting all of it on this weekend and the head unit I ordered should be here Thursday or Friday.
I also finished making my intake last night.. spent right at $60 for everything. I really like how it turned out and it got a lot of love from my friends lol.. definitely louder than I thought it would be but I love it.

I know I've been promising tint but I decided to wait again until the end of this month.. I got a little carried away with appearance and I want to check off my maintenance list first before I throw any more money down on looks. I'll replace my coolant system with green coolant when I change my elbows.
I'm also looking at painting both lower fascias and my mirrors either satin black or gloss black in the future.. I can't decide which color I should use. The reason I'm painting my mirrors is because my driver's side is severely sun faded.
(Don't hate on my level of noob.. Please)
Last night I finally got everything done. It took me a hell of a lot longer than what it would have taken any experienced person on this forum, BUT I learned a lot and that's all that matters.
A few things that I managed to learn:
- Plastic elbows are a b***h to get out of the tensioner when broken..
- Factory wires with those metal protector things take a hell of an effort to pull off..
- Plugs take some creativity to get out with a ratchet.. Luckily I have smaller arms lol
Much needed
I was really happy when I went to start the car and it actually started lolol.. It idles a lot smoother and I was surprised at how much more responsive it felt. Plus not having to smell burning coolant all the time is nice too.. haha. Head unit is coming in about 3 hours and I'm looking to put it in tomorrow night, i'll update soon.
