Rear passanger bulb...

LS2 BLAZER

wondering if anyone else is having/had this issue...

since I've had the car (got it last winter), I've had to replace the passenger side rear taillight/turn signal bulb 3 times now (i get the hyper flash on the dash and when i check its the back bulb)...

no corrosion on the connection, all wires in tact, and the filaments on the bulb aren't even broke.. but when i change the bulb, all goes back to normal... and after a few months... i get the hyper flash again.. any ideas?

Did you trace the wiring up a little ways? Could be it's cracked somewhere and messing it up and then when you pull the light it moves it just right so it works again for a while.

I have a little actually.. when I wash the car, I take the tail lights out to dry underneath them, and in the trunk as well (I'm anal about car cleanliness lol), so when I undo the black knobs, and move the carpet back, I looked that far... everything looks ok... with the issue being intermitent, meaning, one day when I start her up, the bulb woks, the next day, I get the hyperash, I'm leaning towards not being seeded correctly.. or at least i'd like to think that so its simple HA...

well... for now the issue has been resolved... how, i have no idea lol... i went to swap the bulbs to the driver side... but tested it one last time... and sure enough, it worked... and has been working ever since... so gonna wait until it happens again.. and go from there..
