Rear-mount turbo?

So a few years ago I saw the guys at MuscleCar on the powerblock install an STS twin turbo system on a vette. IMO it's a great idea and I'd love to have one on my car. My question is has anyone ever done this to a w-body? ShanePA is selling a single turbo kit made by STS, which is what made me think about it. I'd really like to see a GP with this kit on it.
 


Thats debatable. Rear mount turbo will net you more power... And if a kit was in order, there is just no comparison.
 
Its a neat idea i saw that episode of muscle car an wanted 1 too. maybe try emailing squires an see if they can build you a kit?
 


I'm just saying...for the money it would cost to build it...you could probably have a intercooled, top swapped and cammed 3800...just saying
 
I think i've seen that guys videos before, I just didnt know he was using a rear mount. The coolest one was him vs the WRX haha
 
rear mount is moronic when there is so much room under the hood. WEAK.

a front mount intercooler will also cool the charge better than just a bunch of piping. do i even have to discuss lag issues?
