Rattling/Vibration noise front driver side

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what is causing a noise. The noise sounds like metal vibrating or rattling against other metal. or maybe some rocks on a cookie sheet. It makes the noise when I accelerate fast and my RPMS shoot up. It does it most often when accelerating up a hill. It sounds like it is around my front driver side around the tire or under the hood. I cant pin point it very well. Thanks for anyone with suggestions/answers.

I just put an after market chrome intake on it. i hadn't heard it before I put that aftermarket intake on it. what could i do to fix the noise?

Might sound kind of obvious, but is the filter secured from the body? put some type of padding in the area where it may be touching something.

As I said above an intake can allow you to hear valvetrain noise. Can be from worn or loose rockers, valve guides, timing chain, etc.

yeah its secured good with hose clamps. there is rubber between the clamps and the metal intake tube. is my best bet to take it to an auto shop and have them drive it and listen to the noise and attempt to fix it? im thinking it may be a heat shield but im not sure where they are all located and how to get to them. it kinda sounds like a loose screw rattling in a heat shield.
