Hi all new member with a 2002 grand prix gt 24,000 orig. mi. evap code p0449. what is the most commom cause of this code? Any help greatly appreciated.
 


I tested for power to the canister vent solenoid valve @ had power so i bought a new one @ advance auto parts here in pa. For under $20.00. So far so good i was able to erase the code which i could not do before @ it has not come back on @ i feel confident that it will not return. It was a cheap fix but a bit of a pain to get to . I want to thank you for your help. Rammy
 
What's with all the @ signs? ^^^ You'll likely have some problems with a car that's sat for so long.
