99 Grand Prix GTP 3.8 Supercharged
My rack is shot, leaking out of the boots. My first thought was pull it, get a rebuild kit and put it back in. However, I see next to nothing on info about rebuilding, I guess people don't regularly do it? I can't imagine changing out a few seals is so terrible that it would send people screaming in terror, but I seem to get that impression.
Next choice was either a junkyard or a new one. I'm skeptical about a junkyard one, even getting one that works, it's gonna go bad sooner than later. So I'm opting for a new one unless some has some words of confidence about purchasing a rebuild kit and having success. I'm eyeing this one over on Advance's site:
