It reads 99 actually brian. not sure if it is in *C or *f though, Alot of sensors read that way when unplugged r bad.
yeah it actually adds timing on that side of the table. 1 or 2 degrees if im not mistaken. And you know what now that you mention it i think it was the map that i was talking about when i said it reads 99 when unplugged.:th_doh: The only way the pcm should pull timing on a stock iat table is when the temp reaches 122*f or something around that
not according to the table at least...but correct me if im wrong as i dont have my tuner in front of me...im always willing to learn something
You are correct. Stock tables only have timing pulled when the temp is high.
I have mine set so that at -40, it pulls 3* of timing. I have seen multiple IAT sensors fail and read -40, so it is set as more of a safety thing than anything.
