Pulley bolt removal

I have a 1998 GTP. I'm looking to replace the serpentine idler and tensioner pulleys on the supercharger side. I'd assume that the pulley bolts loosen opposite from the direction the pulleys turn during normal operation.

In that case the tensioner pulley (#3) loosens clockwise as does idler pulley (#9) (with the Torx T50 head) since they both turn counterclockwise during normal operation.

Idler pulley (#8) loosens counterclockwise since it turns clockwise during normal operation.

Can anyone please confirm this?

Thanks

All the pulley loosen with right hand threads(normal) and one( can't remember which one) is left hand.

There are two #3 pulleys. One for the alternator tensioner, one for the supercharger tensioner. Pulley #3 on the supercharger side is removed with a 15mm and is right hand thread. Pulley #3 on the alternator side is removed with a 15mm and is left handed tread. Pulleys #8 & #9 bolt are right handed thread.

Aggghhhh, I was trying to take the Tensioner Pulley off on the Accessory side with no success. I was trying to take it off w/old fashion counter clockwise as the other ones...Going left.

So I should go clockwise (Turn Right) to loosen it up. I'll do it tomorrow if so.

Righty Tighty...Lefty Loosey...backwards...magical.

So I just got back from work and decided to change out the pulley since I got stuck this weekend. While all the others were a success. I got the info to turn clockwise to loosen the Tensioner pulley but now I'm stuck! I don't know how to get it off as it so tight on there. How do I get it off to swap for my new one and place the new one on.

Sorry, I'm not a mechanic but enjoy doing things myself. I felt a complete success as changing out all the other pulleys and belt this past weekend.

I also did my own headers, exhaust, and suspension on my truck. I may take alot longer than most but I feel proud to try and complete a task...

So anyone who can help me asap, thanks!
