project racerat (PICS added)

Re: project idea

its slighty rusty, mostly cosmetic from what i could tell. the odometer says 60k the motor turns over and the coolant was clean and the oil nice and black. if that interests you at all lmk, otherwise it would turn into a flower planter on my porch.

im looking for a pas side fender for it.

Re: project racerat

picking car up friday night.

bidding on a 04 gtp, and a 99 GT with 80k miles both rear ended hard.

also picked up T5 trans from a 99 firebird with shifter, pedals and bellhousing.

Re: project racerat

Cool car, meh engine choice, terrible trans choice, your time and money. Whats this all boil down to? Do what makes you happy, f opinionated folks such as myself. Best of luck in your endeavors.

Make a build thread, I do love outside of the box custom creations.

Re: project racerat

Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention.

The funnest cars are the low maintenance ones. Something to be said about not worrying about the paint job, etc.

Don't take my last post as a negative one, wasn't intended to be. I'm not the most eloquent.

Re: project racerat

well i was given a gallon of slime in your face green paint today... so ****** bright green or flat black?
haha

Re: project racerat

i had a 67 i think, mg MGB hatch back, -12 volt system, had a 4 banger with a tri power on it, and a 4 speed. not that it was fast lol, fun little car, but it had to go, got rid of it after 3 months. gremlins everywhere.

i really hated the bus sized steering wheel and the angle it was set at.

seems like a fun project for sure.
