Re: Project LQ4 - V8 S10 - So close to making noise...
Mine too lol.Hilarious that my box truck has the same dash setup.

Diagram would work. No doubt there, I looked it over and it makes perfect sense.
On those relays.. think where I live. Here...anyone that does a headlight kit and the relay is partially exposed, soon enough the headlights don't work. Pull the relay and it's a crusty rusty mess. Once you solder in a weatherproof one, you never see another problem. Now.. where you live, rain isn't common and neither is corrosion. I bet you are fine with that dorman box.
hang on a sec..
trigger low speed and you get fan 1 only
trigger high speed and you get both fans
I'm just glad she passed the smoke test!
I'm thinking he meant the other smoke test, the one where grey/white smoke starts pouring out from under the dash because something in a new build was wired wrong.
Here's what I see.Sitting here thinking about the fan wiring... I'd like to run both at the same time in a Low/High configuration vs. one on for low and both on for high. I'll be using the PCM as the fan controller. I found this diagram. To my feeble brain, it looks plausible.

So, wiring guru's... Does this look right? I'd probably also add some 30 amp fuses off the 87 pins.

Yes this! I'm lagging on comments. All electronics must be tightly sealed to keep the smoke in, haha.
And that's how my "can I borrow that one tool" collection started
Sensors & special sockets...GRRRRR...What the Fudge...02 sensor=same thing......effin engineers...lol
mechanic buddy had that socket. I used pliers
maybe you can do it tonight
TURN KEY! TURN KEY! say like animal the muppet
He turned key to get pressure
we gotta tell him to reconnect either fuel or spark..whichever he disabled.
