When I worked at a Lincoln/Eagle dealership back in 96, I used to love test driving the Mark VIII for the mechanics (I was a helper then). I also liked test driving the 97 AWD snailed Talons.

If I'm correct, most or all Mark VIII's have Airbags and they malfunction regularly.

Isn't that the one they used to advertise by showing it driving up to a bar slowly and tapping it with the roof, then backing up and driving under the bar at like 70MPH and not hitting because it drops when you get above a certain speed? Always liked that commercial, and wondered if the driver ducked when he went under the by out of reflex...
