Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Most of that area lost power so they may be without power or internet. And we all know Bill isn't all up on technology with smart phones and tapatalk so without the PC he's just drinkin beer.

I'm starting to get a little worried myself. D has a point though majority of the coast is without power so no doubt there's no computer and i'm sure phone's dead by now so no phone either.

Lol that's good. Sounds like it was pretty crazy out there from what I heard on the KRRO (local rock station) news minute. I guess it was a mix throughout the entire coast of a blizzard/hurricane/something else lol majority of the country on that side is out of power... that's crazy

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

yeah.
over here in central CT its not that bad. the storm is pretty much over, just some wind and a sprinkle here and there.
the coastline is messed up though. they shut down the highways yesterday.

That's when you know its bad.... they don't shut down highways on the coast unless they're majorly ****ed..... that's why I like living in bum**** midwest. The worst we have to worry about is blizzards and (living on the top edge of tornado alley) tornatos

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

I woke up to a little bit of snow on the ground this morning. Roads weren't too bad, but school was cancelled due to the varied severity of snow, rain, wind, and power outages.

Just south of me in West Virginia areas were hit with as much as 3 feet of snow and 5 foot drifts. They shut I68 down from Morgantown, WV to the MD border. That's about 40 miles of highway shut down.

Well if all this happened in the coastal areas something tells me we're gonna have at least one good blizzard this winter.... can't wait to go drive in it XD

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

New Jersey is fvcked. Scott should be alright his area didn't get it too too bad mostly flooding. But over 87% and 3million people are without power for a projected 2-3weeks. It's going to be a longggg time before anything gets back to normal... I'm up in north jersey in the mountains so there are massive trees down over power lines and houses everything. My GTPs ok. Ill try to come on here as much as I can. (Stole gfs iPhone at the moment because Internet doesn't exist anymore As we'll as cell service)I post updates as time goes on to anyone who wants to know. But at the moment. The entire jersey shore line ceases to exist anymore. All boardwalks and shore houses are obliderated .And in other lol news I watched a guy fill up his regal GSE with regular today...

Well this is the first sign of the apocalypse! Better start with the car modifications now... or at least make one I can simply bolt on just in case it doesn't happen lmao

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

My friends at the shore are all lined up at the last couple gas stations running generators to get gas for their generators.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Intentionally did not set my alarm last night, slept till 12:30ish and woke up and was like oh yeah, work at 2. Might wanna get ready lol.

And I came home, final sand, and painted. It looks damn good in person but here's teh before and after pic

You get the idea. All I need is to wait for it to dry (idk how long...?) and then put the wall plate up and viola.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Heard from Scotty yesterday afternoon. No power, cell barely working. Likely he's still swimming anywhere he needs to go.

Central/Northern CT was barely hit. We got lucky that the storm doesn't like "Jersey Shore" either.

I'd say next year is the Carolina's and slightly south's turn to get it.

idk. I don't have MAF issues so I haven't checked. I imagine Bill will chirp in.

chirp..Chirp...I'm happy as a bird with the Dan maf that Danielle should have gotten. An ebay one is fine if you get a delco.
