So I feel really privileged. Today a 92 year old woman came in the shop and we talked for about 30 minutes and I was fortune to be able to hear her perspective on the world and her stories about her lifelong travels overseas. I feel inspired.
 


Seems like everyday you cross my mind. Even after such a long, long time I still think about the way you smile. Tears me apart to know that it won't ever be the same again.

THIS! happens all the frikken time. hate that.

on another note, i worked at a different shop location tonight and i'm not so sure i like it there. the co-workers are semi-rude and the manager...lord bless her heart she isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.

Too bad the world isn't as it was 70 years ago.

Yes, she commented on this as well.

BUT she also traveled up until a few years ago when her lifelong friend passed away. So it wasn't like a long time had passed since she'd seen the world.
