i used to have a patch of strawberry's next to my garden, i think ill need to get a few flower boxes that hang on the railings and load then with strawberry's. at least they come back bigger and better every year.

by the look of the size of berry's you got there id have to think your patch is a good 5 years old if not more. took that long for my plants to put out that big.

hardest part is beating the ants to the ripe ones. i hate bugs.

While I was breaking all my joints picking my strawberries, I swear the patch softly whispered to me, "This isn't even my final form."

Filled this bad boy twice before it got too dark to go on.

how the hell do you break all your joints picking strawberries...... ??

^^^ scotty knows... scotty knows

Dude... The joint ache from picking a whole strawberry patch is almost equivalent to polishing and waxing the car. Knees and low back are creaky this morning.

Well, just thought i'd let y'all know I got the promotion :D I am the interim bursar. They have me going through a 30 day "probation" period in the new position before I get a raise, change job titles, etc. because the last bursar got fired after 3 weeks. So as long as all goes well, July 1st I will be the permanent bursar.

It feels great knowing that everyone here likes me and wants me to do well. I've only worked here 3 months and i got put in a very vital position on the campus.

Oh and... working my first saturday :p They are required for the new position because there are saturday classes. I had to open the campus this morning. Not really a big deal to most but it felt nice :)

edit: and the new car hunt begins :D :D

what college/university are you at?

what college/university are you at?

I work at Wright Career College. There are campuses in KC, Wichita, Omaha, OKC and Tulsa. It's an alternative college of sorts where you don't have to be accepted, you just enroll. We offer Associate's and Bachelor degrees.

Our students are mostly from urban areas with low income.

My son and nephew were playing outside while I took a shower after detailing my car. I go out to put stuff in the trunk and notice that a big spot of clear coat is missing on my rear bumper. Look at my son and ask if he did that he said yeah. I've never been so close you just punching him in the face before. I told him to get away from my car and I walked away before I did something I regretted.

After seeing all the work you do on cars he probably thinks Dad can fix anything, so he lined up a little experiment for you.

I'll probably sand it down and then spray some clear on it and wet sand it and rebuff it. After I cooled off I went back and looked at it and it's not absolutely terrible but it's pretty bad. Took him and my nephew to the car show I went to tonight and they had fun but my son kept a little distance from my car lol

he wont need a stick, breath hard enough near dans car and you could disrupt the rust lol

and johnny is used to a rusty car, imagine how much he picked off dan before you threw it out LOL

I told him he could mess with mine before it went to scrap. When I was pushing it back into the garage one day he was sitting in it making blower whine noises lol
