I had them test it and they said the battery looked fine. The only reason I was wondering is cause once I cleaned off the battery terminals with a wire brush my voltage went up to normal levels for a week or so

Alternator was making better connection, thats why, but a weak alternator can cause corrosion.

That's the way I would lean. Stop at Advance and have them test the alternator. See what it is putting out.

It puts out anywhere between 13-15 depending on the day according to the dic. It used to stay around 15 but lately its been going down to 13 and it just doesn't hold steady at any given time

The dic isn't super accurate on the voltage. One day mine was showing 14.1 V, my af showed 14.8, and my multimeter showed 14.7. I'm guessing my multimeter is right.
