The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
I just hope the rotors can be turned, the guy was able to turn the front ones and only charged me for 1 so I got new pads. Now I have to go see about the rear, if they can't turn them then, ordering everything from advance online and picking it up in store well worth the 20% which makes the rear brake job 75 bucks. Now I just gotta hope either place rents the tool to compress the rear caliper. My grandpa has this weird socket with small teeth on it that fit so I'll trynthat first.
Guy was actually able to turn them, slides were bone dry like the fronts. So I lubed them with some random grease I think wheel bearing grease. Gonna pick them up tomorrow. I wanna knock out the last person who did brakes on this car. I had to pound the pads out of the bracket they were stuck good
sounds like the pads didnt quite fit right. ive had to open up the U parts at the end of a few pads so they would slide on the bracket back and fourth. used a right angle grinder to grind it open more.
