• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

One of the best start of a monday turned into one of the worst.. **** monday! why you gotta be a little **** bag all the time..

Came across a steal of a deal on a 06 gxp. 102k miles, black interior, stealth gray metallic exterior, sunroof, clean title. $5,200. Wholesale clearance deal at some place in Ohio. Probably going to go look at it Wednesday if it doesn't sell.Thats about 5k under book around here. Worse comes to worse I can always resell it. Should it need trans work I'll still be under value on it. Decisions decisions
Where at?

In sheffield lake ohio. Its between toledo and Cleveland. It's a 3 hr trip one way which has me a bit hesitant if it turns out to be a bad deal.

It needs cleaned on the inside better than they did but I'm capable of doing that myself.

The check engine light is on in one picture and I'm trying to get an answer of what code its throwing but haven't heard back yet.

I think I'll call and set an appointment tomorrow for Wednesday. Lee made it sound like take the trailer and trailer it back, but idk. I'm not trading my car in on it.
I'll have a small loan on it but can have it paid off quick enough to ditch it should something go wrong. And I have monies saved to aid in trans replacement should that time come.

I've always wanted one. It'll be a fun car to keep me happy for a few years.

Test drive it, take it to a mechanic or autozone and have it scanned.. Adjust price accordingly. A cel could be triggered by anything simple.

Looks like a nice buy, I'm always wary about things sold "as-is". Bought a harley for 6500 "as-is" from the dealership a few years ago, turned out it had a burnt valve and barely ran, just enough for them to shove it out the door on a first-time buyer like me. Ended up selling it for significantly less than I paid for it, but it was fun while I had it.

Take a scanner with you and see if you can pull some codes, to figure out what's wrong. hopefully nothing major, then buy it and flip it, or keep it and drive it. Good luck!

Regarding that car though... I looked at the carfax, and there was an accident reported in 2010 -

obviously it's drivable and it was repaired, because the accident was 4 years ago. Hope it's a good buy!

Wouldn't bother me.. Accidents happen and often it's not your fault but others around you. It's not a issue as long as the repair was done right. This is also a $6k buy and not a $25k+ car so it's not as big of a deal. I'm sure D can spot any potential problems when she sees it. Yea it's a 6 hr trip but hey sometimes you gotta be willing to drive for a sweet deal.
