Ooh! Ideas! Ha. Listen to yourself... you know right now is the time to do that core job, don't you? So you could dry that pad with towels. You could be done by supper time.
 


The best way to tell a friend how much you like his car is do take a picture of you flipping it off and sending it too him.

I had intentions on working on my Stealth this weekend but I ended up not being home all weekend.

I did help my cousin yank the engine out of a project Talon his girlfriend bought. We bolted the engine to the stand, flipped it over, yanked the pan and as soon as I grabbed #4 rod I knew I had found the problem.

Pulled the cap and found this

 


LOL, well she bought the car knowing there was a possible spun bearing, so it wasn't a surprise to find it spun, but it was a surprise to find it in the condition it is in.
 
Took the trash out this morning and the yard tried to eat my shoe it was so squishy in one spot. Pinhole leak on the line coming from the water meter. Dug it up and band clamped it with a scrap of rubber. It holds but a guy is coming to hopefully hook me up with a compression fitting there today. Once you start digging you're committed because of the mandatory after-shower so I missed work. Old men can't dig very good, FYI and LOL. My tree is so old too, that I had to do some chainsaw root action.

I guarantee they were, and it looks like he had to build some sort of tard contraption there which probably ate their profit some. It should last longer than barbs which I might have done if the cost was outrageous but it wasn't. If they ain't gotta dig, that helps! Its buried now.

Yeah just getting any kind of digger here would cost more than the trippy fix plus my missed work day. I even have two friends with backhoes and called them both. Too big. I do believe I pulled this off with the absolute minimum of digging. I sure didn't like it, but the house hasn't hassled me much over the last 18 years and for that I love it.

I meant I tore my water line with a backhoe, lol.
 
Oh. That wasn't fun, was it? My line was just old I guess.

The local medical evacuation helicopter landed in the middle of the highway near my work Tuesday. Big wreck, they say. I didn't pay much attention, but where I have to enter the 5 lane highway after work is one of those spots where you can see traffic coming for like 3/8 of a mile but if you can see a car, you better not pull out. Even if you're packing a modded 3800.

So I heard it was on the news and my buddy saw the car being hauled off. Said it was a 4-door but like mine so looked on the news. Dayum! Two women about my age were killed in a black 97-03 sedan. No injuries in the other "car" (?) and don't know what it was. But look at this GP, roof and door ripped off to try to save the ladies. Whew, man. Glad these news reporter pics are low quality. They whipped out in front of someone doing probably 60 and took it right on the B-pillar. Nothing can save you from a move like that.
