• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Post Whoring - 5.5.1 - We have a turd in the punch bowl

It didn't say who was driving, just that two women died.

IDJ, that was a fairly stupid thing to say because of course one of the women was driving. Sorry if that sounded smart mouth, Stealthee.

Having had so many moments of impact in my past, it's unsettling when such a graphic example of people who may never have wrecked getting overly comfortable behind the wheel comes up. All of everything you ever did or will do plus that of the people around you... all depends on making the correct moves every time. One slip, and this time a century of life was wiped away. The gal who pulled out in front of the fire truck, man that one leaves me feeling awful too. The fallout from that incident had to be colossal. Trouble is, you can be careful all you want but you'll never see yours coming.

Gonna try and change the somber tone in here with some darkness.

I didn't take it that way at all. It's all good.

As for your final part of the comment it is too true. You can be the most careful driver in the world, but it doesn't mean you will live through your commute if an inconsiderate, inattentive driver comes in your path.

I have become one of those people who always "looks ahead" and anticipates. Many times, I hit my brakes before the person in front of me even hits their brakes. I expect people to pull out in front of me.

Even being that type of driver won't save me if there isn't a way to avoid the dumbasses on the road.

Got on the subject of good music at work today. I'm saddened to hear that no one knew who Dimebag Darrel was, who Flea is, or what bands they were in. They had no problem recognizing Five Finger Death Punch though. "Look at me, I'm Nickelback with distortion and yelling!" Is about all I have to say about 5FDP, I guess their early stuff is good. I dunno.

Not sure if I should feel old or like I'm surrounded by uncultured swine. Or both.
