This thing is hilarious.

It's different because of the RT downpipe. It uses a dounut because it's designed to pivot on it for a "flex" section stupid design, I would have just bought SDs if I knew this in advance. Uses this style gasket along with a normal 3" 2 bolt gasket. Technically supposed to use bolts with springs but image going to just torque it down and see what happens. I'm either going to just get a ZZP downpipe or have this one go under the knife with new flanges.

I also noticed this on the rear header, not very happy. Kicking myself for not looking them over better. No hole but I bets is awfully thin right there

It seems that the flatter part of the dount is supposed to seal the gasket thats on the flange. Yeah i was really confused too, untill I did some digging on clubgp from posts back in like 07 lol. I still dont see it working well but i suppose we'll see. If not I'll get to drive 2 hours home with a huge exhaust leak lol

Damn Russ seems that you would of been better off grabbing some SDs
Trust me, at this point I wish I did. I'm going to be probably another $130 into these TOGs for a DP if I can't get this one to work. I gotta get a quote to try to fix this one to work good then make a decision. Or I'll have keaton use his Flexplate welding skills to put normal 2 bolt flanges on with a flex lol. With a new DP my top swap is up to 1k and I still haven't had the valves done yet.

I'm still confused as how you own Togs that have a different style flange on the rear header aka downpipe flange.

Because then why not just run a tog style downpipe ?

I have a TOG style downpipe, it's just the design random technologys used is weird. The flange on the header is right it's just the TOG downpipe I have is older and a different design than what you would expect is all. I'm going to just get a new one from ZZP for $130. 2.5" exit, aluminized, catless.

Scotty the RT downpipe bolts to the TOG headers the same way there ones used on stock manifolds

i think they add the donuts and springs to the bolts so it can flex when used on a stock manifold, your flex pipe replaces that, you should not need a donuts for the dp.
